Message of the HOD: Dr. Abir Lal Bandyopadhyay

With a rich legacy of history and a team of fresh, active and enthusiastic teachers, the department aims to bring in future more research projects, organize departmental, national and student seminars and build up a specialized and well-stocked seminar library. Of late, a project of digitization of old/rare books of the College for an archive has been launched for the first time by the department. We encourage student-teacher interaction. Teaching with utmost sincerity is our priority.
