About the Department of Economics

The Economics Department is an Important Department of our college. The Department was started its journey in the year 1985 with pass course. The Department has one faculty member who is engaged in serious Research work along with academic activities. The Department tries to enlighten students about the economic affairs of the country and the world and teaches them how to participate in the development of the country. Students are assessed continuously throughout the semester by conducting seminars, test, by giving assignments and they are asked to do field work. To upgrade the knowledge of the students, the department of economics provides knowledge in various sectors of the economy through socio economic surveys by the students.
