Message of the HOD: Prof. Mahadev Saren

We have two full time Teachers and three State Aided College Teachers. The student strength of each Honours class is more than 50. In spite of all the limitations for being located in a village, the consistent and brilliant results of our students have made us proud. The teachers of our Department are very much active to introduce up-to-date teaching methods. The Bengali Department wants to inculcate a love for literature in the students and does not believe in mechanical teaching and rote learning. We have a good Departmental Library which can help the students to enrich their literature base. We believe in interactive classroom teaching. We organise significant State Level, National Level & International Level seminars and workshops. We want to start PG course in future.
